Saving the deepest for last.
SC Ports is excited to welcome the largest ship ever to call Charleston — the CMA CGM Brazil.
The 15,072-TEU container ship is the largest vessel to ever visit the East Coast. It will call on SC Ports thanks to a wide and deep harbor, big-ship cranes and efficient operations. CMA CGM is saving the deepest for last, with Charleston being the vessel’s last U.S. port of call before it heads overseas.
The CMA CGM Brazil is currently expected in the inner Charleston Harbor at 9am on Sunday, September 20. We will update this page and our social channels as the vessel gets closer.
