Starting Thursday December 9, 2021, WWT will open empty returns for all steamship lines except Yang Ming, which will continue to be returned to HLT. Maersk, Hamburg Sud and Sealand empties can be returned to WWT beginning December 9. Please pay close attention to the terminal when generating gate codes for empty returns.

The SCPA will update gate codes/EIRs to reflect the proper return terminal for WWT and NCT only. Motor carriers should use Port Manager for empty returns to HLT. Motor Carriers should use Go!Port for empty returns to WWT and NCT.

ALL Steamship Line empty DRY returns will continue to be directed to HLT and NCT per the below guidelines. The SCPA Rapid Rail program will continue with empty returns to WWT.
Motor carriers should use Port Manager for empty returns for HLT. Any existing gate codes for Wando will be updated for NCT. Motor Carriers should use Go!Port for empty returns to NCT.
This will remain in effect through close of business Tuesday 12/7/21 at which time the SCPA will re-evaluate the WWT Empty Yard level and communicate return procedures accordingly. Please continue to monitor SCPA notifications for any updates.

Due to current empty inventory levels at the Wando Welch Terminal, effective Saturday 12/4/21, ALL Steamship Line empty DRY returns will be directed to HLT and NCT per the below guidelines.
The SCPA Rapid Rail program will continue with empty returns to WWT. This will remain in effect through close of business Monday 12/6/21 at which time the SCPA will re-evaluate the WWT Empty Yard level and communicate return procedures accordingly.
