South Carolina Ports and the Board of Directors mourn the passing of Board Member Mark Buyck and issued the following statement:
“It is with sadness that we share the news of Mark Buyck’s passing. Since 2020, Mark served on the SC Ports Board of Directors, sharing his expertise and kind nature. He always brought an earnest and sincere desire to support the port. He cared deeply about upholding our mission, creating economic opportunities around our state and serving South Carolinians. His leadership and friendship will be missed. The Port Family’s condolences and prayers are with the Buyck family.”
