SC Ports dedicates a portion of its revenues to partnership projects that support local communities across the state.
The Port is incredibly proud of these organizations who undertake important work to better our communities.
- Applications must demonstrate a clear fit within one of the following focus areas: maritime commerce, economic development, environmental awareness, or community outreach.
- Programs with measurable, sustained impacts receive priority during the selection process.
- Non-qualifying organizations include churches, individual schools and individual community sports teams, and items such as ballot measures, direct overhead costs and salaries are ineligible.
Due to economic uncertainties in the broader market, our Community Giving Program is on pause for fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026). We value the important work nonprofits do in our state, and we look forward to future partnerships. We appreciate your understanding for the coming year.
