Free Time / Terminal Storage / Terminal Demurrage

NOTICE: To increase freight fluidity, the Authority issues the following changes to its Free Time, Terminal Storage, and Terminal Demurrage charging policies. Except for Holiday “No Work” Days as defined in Rule 34-045(B), all days will be counted for the purposes of Free Time, Terminal Storage, and Terminal Demurrage. A steamship line or its consignee may, in good faith, dispute a Terminal Storage or Terminal Demurrage charge or request fee mitigation, refund or waiver. In the event of any inconsistency between the following Rules and the Authority’s website, the Rule of the applicable MTOS will take precedence.
