Reefers are not worked on Saturdays at Wando Welch, North Charleston, or Hugh Leatherman Terminals except on special request.
Saturday reefer transactions will require prior notice to the terminal and vendors. Any containers that arrive without the proper prior notice will be turned away and not serviced.
Email notice for all Saturday reefer transactions MUST be received by 3 PM on the Friday before and include:

All Saturday reefer scheduling notices for transactions must include SCPA Contacts, Charleston Gate Contacts and the correct M&R vendor listed below, so labor can be properly scheduled.

The breakbulk gate hours at North Charleston, Wando Welch, Hugh K. Leatherman, Columbus Street, and Veterans Terminals are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 11:30 am and 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm. Scheduled appointment times are required so that proper personnel and equipment will be ready.
All import cargo pick-ups must first have a Custom’s and Agent’s release in place. The scheduled driver must also have an appropriate Loading Order Number. This is a 5 digit number ending in an L. For all export cargo, the driver must have a Dock receipt showing the steamship line Bill of Lading number for the cargo.
